Globalization

To understand the term of globalization, we must first define it. Globalization is develop or be developed so as to make possible international influence or operation. However we must describe it with our own words so we can simplify and it can have more sense. So in simplified words globalization means to expand or to get expanded so it is possible for international impact.

Globalization has pros and cons, which means it has positive and negative effects. First of all we will talk about the pros of globalization, globalization is very effective because it helped some cultures have better buildings, better appreciation of other cultures. For example, food is a very common aspect of globalization since many countries eat other foreign foods. A very good example would be like someone can be eating noodles in Canada, while in someone in France can be eating classic Italian meatballs. McDonalds for example is an American company, with 31,000 locations worldwide, this is American globalization. Another symbol of globalization would be Chinese symbols in tattoos. Many of today's youth do these tattoos which presents cultural appropriation, a term meaning a culture adopting an element from a different culture. The internet is one of the most strongly growing signs of globalization, many countries and people use easy communication in digital forms. The internet is a big part of cultural globalization because it allows interaction with completely two whole different countries.

Now we will talk about the cons of globalization, which are very common. Globalization has created opposition between many countries and increased inequality. In the Midwestern United States, has consumed the competitive edge in industry and agriculture, which lowered the quality of life in locations that have not obtained that change. Globalization has promoted the flow of information, capital and goods. With this it also spread deadly diseases, it was common from the Middle Ages to this day. Starting with the Black Plague, it was transferred from Asia to Europe, causing devastating results in agriculture, economy and killing 1/3 of Europe's population. Faster transportation allow more people to travel around the world, and airways promote the movement of infectious diseases. AIDS/HIV are excellent examples. Monopoly is very negative in due terms of Globalization, for example 300,000 South African textile workers have lost heir jobs because of the influx of Chinese goods. As much as 3.2 million, 1 in 6 American factory jobs have vanished since the year 2000. Globalization has of course positive and negative aspects from what we observe in the world.

Our company will be focusing on residential yachts, which means that we will be aiming on building large luxurious yachts where it is similar to a house. The large yachts will be available for rent and the offices will be in very famous and rich ports of the Mediterranean. We will practice many common market activities in which we will use them in the payment of our staff, and fund our manufacturing and offices' energy and water. The reason the yachts are for rent is that if it was for sale few people can buy it so the profit will be low and that is not what we are aiming for. Our factory will be in a location where the place charges no port taxes and the assembling location will be in the same place and then we will transport our products to the several ports.

Horizontal Nature of the Company- Our strategy is to place our offices in famous and rich ports and cities so we can get the interest of many rich people. Our location is the Mediterranean because it is a very popular place for yachts. It even will draw many rich tourists as well because of the warm sea and the European essence. Cities and Ports we are aiming for are Marseille, Barcelona, Sicily, Athens and maybe Istanbul because of the far distance from the Mediterranean. Our offices will be very good looking and our services will be very professional so we can attract customers and give ourselves a good reputation so more people can come to us. In the European areas we aim for our staff members to know the local language of the office location and English. These strategies will help us dominate the Yacht selling market.

Vertical Nature of the Company- Our factory location as we said will be located in a tax free location, so we chose the location to be Hong Kong. After we manufacture the Yacht parts, we will need a shipping company that will aid us in shipping the products. So we will make a contract with a shipping company that states that the shipping company gets 4% share of the whole rent profit as long as they ship our Yacht parts to the assembling area. When we assemble the Yacht parts in another area in Hong Kong then we will need a shipping company to ship the Yachts to the different Mediterranean ports and cities.

Energy- To acquire the energy for our manufacturing we decided to create a contract with the Chinese government stating that if they reduce the electricity and water bills by 50% then we will give the government a very good reputation and we will back them up and advertise them in every advertisement of ours. We will also mention them in every business situation and in any trading situation. Now when it comes to the offices' energy and water supply we will get the support fund we can collect and attempt to pay the bills, if this is not successful then we will try to make another contract with the different governments.

Raw materials- We will need first class building products to make the Yachts such as premier wood, plastic, and fiberglass is better to build with because of the insurance purposes. We will need strong engines so we had an idea to make a contract with Hummer because they are very weak in the market. This contract will state that if they build us engines we will help them become stronger in the market and give them 3% share of our raw material profits. We will also make agreements with building companies to supply with plaster, cement and other building materials. To get the fuel we will make another contract with the Moroccan based fuel company Afriquia that states that if they supply us with the yacht fuel we will aid them in becoming an international fuel company.

Labor- We will use two maids, two professionally trained Yacht drivers and a possible guide if needed. The offices will be equipped with professionally trained reception employees and other minor employees such as security and maybe a bartender for some snack services in the office. The workers will be speaking the local language of the location of the office and English. The payment plan will be on commission of the rent of the Yachts will be 0.6% of the weekly rent profit, which is a decent payment. We will also provide the workers with health insurances and a proper healthcare system.

Government and Regulations- Some of the possible regulations can be that the government will require special taxes for the office constructions in Europe and special permissions for the port utilization. So we will of course pay with these funds that Mr. Buffet hopefully gives us so we can start operating the business and can withstand the government regulations.

Profits- The profits will come from the rents of the Yachts and the popularity of our company if we operate it well. We will also economize the spending money through the government contracts that were stated above. We also thought about doing charity events to raise money by convincing people and how we can prove to them that we are there ideal renting company.

My goal is to help the poor and orphans of the world now that I'm a millionaire. I aim to build orphanages that are better sanitized and have the materials that benefit the orphans. Then I want to travel to a developing country and offer them a tour on one of my yachts. I will also donate money to orphanages and donate food and water to the poor populations. If it is possible to do, I will organize a charity event where the poor and the rich can come, and all of us can put our differences aside. After all of this I aim to support the atmosphere, meaning I will try to supply our yachts with biofuel instead of the polluting fuel. I will also try to make safety barriers to the rudder so to protect the marine life.
